Settle into the Jumbo Mayan Hammock and let it hug you. With no spreader bars, the hand-woven bed gathers into a deep, soft curve that cradles you from head to toe, then closes up neatly when nobody is in it, so it won't collect leaves and debris when it's hung under the trees.
Each hammock is woven by hand from soft-spun polyester cord that feels gentle on the skin but stands up to sun, rain, horseplay and the family dog. The bed is over 7 feet long and 55 inches wide, roomy for one and cozy for two, and each end is finished with a clew knot and a stainless steel ring. There's no wood to rot, and it fits into tighter spots than a spreader bar hammock: between two trees, across a porch, or hung from ceiling or wall joists indoors.

Each Jumbo Mayan Hammock is a work of art, lovingly hand woven, taking about 18 hours to complete. Our all-woman workforce has years of experience and knows exactly how to make a perfectly balanced hammock.
We use soft-spun polyester cords and stainless steel hardware to make our hammocks weatherproof so you can leave them outdoors for the entire hammock season. It is not unusual for the Jumbo Mayan Hammocks to last 10 years or more. Please store indoors for wintertime.
Jumbo Mayan Hammocks are some of the easiest hammocks to hang, it is more of an art than a science. All you will need is two solid points that are 12 or more feet apart and 5 1/2 feet high or higher.
Use ropes or Tree Huggers to go around the tree trunk or branch. A couple of 3 inch s-hooks will hook your hammock into the ropes. It is very easy.
Two posts in the ground are the perfect place to hang any hammock. If the posts are already in the ground they need to be a minimum of 12 feet apart and 5.5 feet tall. If you are putting the post in the ground you could go as far as 15 feet apart and 8 feet high, this will give you options to hang any size hammock in this location at a later date.
The Jumbo Mayan Hammock is an excellent choice for porches and smaller spaces. Look for some wall or ceiling joists. Use a drill and our hammock hanging kit. Any guy with a drill and a step ladder can get it done in no time.
An Arbor is an amazing place to hang a Mayan Hammock. Look for two posts that are 12 or more feet apart. Our hammock suspension kit includes all the hooks and chains you will need to do the job. You will need a stepladder and a drill; the whole process should not take more than a couple of minutes.
