Collection: Hanging Hardware

Everything you need to hang a hammock or hammock chair with confidence. Our kits are built from heavy-duty hardware and rope rated well beyond what any hammock will ask of them, so the only thing left to decide is where to put your feet up.

A few rules worth following:

• Anchor to something solid — a hammock stand, a healthy tree branch, as sturdy post, or properly mounted ceiling beams.
• Hang low. A fall from 12–18 inches bruises your pride. A higher one can do real damage.
• Give the hardware a quick look before you climb in.
• Check what's underneath you. Rocks, roots, and uneven ground are not where you want to land.
• If you're hanging from a tree, pick a strong healthy branch and don't chew up the bark.
