How

Caribbean Mayan Hammocks are some of the easiest hammocks to hang, it is more of an art than a science. All you will need is two solid points that are 12 or more feet apart and 5 1/2 feet high or higher.

Where

TWO TREES

Use ropes or Tree Huggers to go around the tree trunk or branch. A couple of 3 inch s-hooks will hook your hammock into the ropes. It is very easy.

TWO POSTS

Two posts in the ground are the perfect place to hang any hammock. If the posts are already in the ground they need to be a minimum of 12 feet apart and 5.5 feet tall. If you are putting the post in the ground you could go as far as 15 feet apart and 8 feet high, this will give you options to hang any size hammock in this location at a later date.

PORCH

The Caribbean Mayan Hammock is an excellent choice for porches and smaller spaces. Look for some wall or ceiling joists. Use a drill and our hammock hanging kit. Any guy will a drill and a step ladder can get it done in no time.

ARBOR / GAZEBO

An Arbor is an amazing place to hang a Mayan Hammock. Look for two posts that are 12 or more feet apart. Our hammock suspension kit includes all the hooks and chains you will need to do the job. You will need a stepladder and a drill; the whole process should not take more than a couple of minutes.

Awesome - Great comfort!

I love this hammock! It feels like cotton but it is thick polyester, woven together and therefor very comfortable and also keeps you from getting chilly when the wind blows. 2 people can easily lay in it – in either direction. It looks great and is of excellent quality. This'll last and is well worth the moneyI purchased straps for it that work great with it. The integrated rings on the hammock are very convenient - though, add weight.

One thing: beware that this hammock is on the HEAVIER side. If you plan on tacking this on a trip or move it very often, it may not be for you. It takes up 17x17x17 inches of space and weighs about 10 lbs. Otherwise, it's great.
